Please check if you have clogged jets in your cartridge and to print a test pattern (called printer self test or the nozzle check pattern).

Run a head cleaning cycle described in your inkjet printer's manual.
Print a test pattern again after running a head cleaning cycle. Your printer will work fine if you make a good test print.
If you make a poor test print run one more head cleaning cycle.
Isn't your printer in use for a long time?
You may have clogged jets in your cartridge if your printer is not in use for a long time.
Check after running a head cleaning cycle.
If this procedure does not work, turn off your printer and run one more head cleaning cycle after leaving more than 24 hours.
Leaving for some time may melt clogged ink and enable you to make a good print.
Don't you have clogged print head nozzle?
You may not make a good print by the print head nozzle's trouble.
There could be the print head nozzle's trouble if head cleaning mechanism does not work.
Your printer will need a repair in this case.
You need to remove yellow tape put on the cartridge before outfitting it with the printer.

Some products need to remove yellow tape put on the cartridge when using. Yellow tape stops up air vents.
Using without removing yellow tape doesn't flow ink and work well.
And also, removing yellow tape imperfectly may cause such trouble.

Q : The printer doesn't work at all although I changed ink for the new one.
Did you reinstall the cartridge once more?
Contact failure may be occurred. Reinstall the ink cartridge once more after removing it from your printer.
IC chip error may be occurred if not improved. IC chip error may happen in making an impact and soon.
Printer's trouble may be occurred if you have same trouble after changing for a new ink cartridge.
Your printer will need a repair in this case.

In the case of the ink cartridge without IC chip
The printer recognizes the ink cartridge with the blade spring in the head cartridge.
The ink cartridge touches the blade spring when installed on the printer and the blade spring touches the electrode on the printer, then it recognizes new ink cartridge set. (Some models don't have the blade spring.)
The printer may not recognize new ink cartridge set after you change it if the blade spring becomes deformed. Your printer will need a repair if this kind of trouble happens.

Q : What should I do if head cleaning mechanism does not work or a malfunction occurs in IC chip?
Remove the ink cartridge from the printer and reinstall the cartridge once more.

On using refill kit
Do not use refill kit for our recycled ink cartridge.
Refilling ink may cause such unexpected troubles as poor print quality or cartridge leaking. And also, we assume no responsibility whatsoever for any troubles of printer and cartridge resulting from dismantlement or conversion of the cartridge, refilling ink included. |
